NMMT Mobile Application Terms & Conditions

We may modify the terms and conditions relating to mobile ticketing/ pass/ fare changes at any time by posting revised terms to the application. You agree to accept these terms and conditions, as well as the general terms and conditions relating to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport Authority.

User Account

Mobile application may offer you the facility of opening user account in mobile application. This user account can be linked to the phone number. One can use this mobile application, either by registering an account (using the mobile number) or as a guest (unregistered user) user with very limited access to the features of applications.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device to prevent unauthorized access to your account when you use the mobile application by registering an account with NMMT tracker. In any condition if OTP is not received it is fully depended on user device and network provider.

Mobile Ticketing

The security of your mobile phone or ticket is your responsibility. In the event that the ticket or your mobile phone is lost or stolen, we will be unable to provide a duplicate or replacement ticket and a new one will have to be purchased. And also mobile ticket validity is only 2 hour after purchase.

Your mobile ticket should be displayed clearly on the mobile phone screen when asked by NMMT staff or an operator. If the mobile ticket has been damaged or is illegible in any way, the ticket becomes invalid and a new one must be purchased.

By purchasing a mobile ticket you agree to cooperate fully with NMMT staff or ticket inspectors and display your mobile phone and any of the ticket details for inspection if asked to do so. It is your responsibility to ensure that the mobile phone is sufficiently charged to display the ticket as many times as required by NMMT Staff for the duration of your journey including at origin and destination stations. For transactions done through Diners/ Credit Cards, citizen will be charged an extra 1% + applicable GST of the transaction amount.

E-Ticket:

E-ticket may not get booked if there is low internet connection of the mobile and lower GPS accuracy. E-ticket cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable. Commuters can book e-ticket only for running and scheduled buses shown on NMMT mobile app.
It is the responsibility of the user to get the e-ticket validated from the conductor within 2 hours of booking, if not done the ticket will AUTO EXPIRE and the user will be considered as without ticket.
The E-Ticket will be not considered as valid under the following circumstances -
1.The e-ticket is not validated from the conductor within 2 hours of booking it
2.The conductor is not able to validate the e-ticket due to network issues or any other such issues beyond the control of conductor
3.If the route number, source and destination is improper on e-ticket, then that e-ticket will be considered as invalid and the user will be considered as without ticket. Commuters will have to take paper ticket in such circumstances.

Child E-Ticket:

Age Limit is 3 Years to 11 Years.
ID proof is compulsorily needed for child E-Ticket to be valid.
If Commuters fail to show any ID proof for the above mentioned age limit to NMMT staff, E-Ticket will be not considered valid instead Commuters will have to buy the full ticket.

Pass:

Pass Commuters are strictly allowed ‘’to and fro” journey per day in NMMT Bus as per route mentioned on pass, this includes monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly. (includes: General, Student pass) (except: Magic Pass)
KYC submitted on mobile application, if found improper, Commuters will have to visit TURBHE BUS DEPOT for physical verification of required documents.
Break journey is not allowed on General pass.
Commuters to ensure that their pass needs to get validated by conductor on every to and fro journey. In case the user is unable to open the mobile app (due to low internet connection of the mobile, inherent mobile device issues and lower GPS accuracy etc.), the user have to take the physical ticket for that journey.
Commuters need to make a new ID if the route or Bus Type (AC/ Non-AC) is changed and accordingly the charges will have to be paid by the commuter as per the Rules of NMMT.
For AC Bus Pass, 5% GST is applicable and shall be borne by the citizen.

Student Pass:

Student ID/ Pass Valid only for Academic Year as mentioned on Bona-fide Certificate.
For Student ID/Pass one-time physical verification needs to be done At Turbhe Depot/Pass Centre with original Bona-fide Certificate and Aadhar Card
Student Pass age limit is below 25 Years.
Student Pass need get it issued every month.
NMMT have full rights to discard Student ID if Academic year is completed as mentioned on Bona-fide
To get benefits of Student ID/Pass Student parent or guardian must be citizen and tax payer of Navi Mumbai (Under NMMC jurisdiction area).
Student ID or college ID to be shown to NMMT staff if they request for it.

Magic Pass

Commuters are allowed to travel in any of the buses, throughout the routes of NMMT, allowed to make break journey. Only limitation is that the bus-type (AC/ Non-AC) should be consistent with the magic pass, that is, if the magic pass is issued for the AC bus then the above mentioned facility can be availed only in the AC buses, travelling in the Non-AC bus will make the commuter as travelling without ticket and in such case the commuter will have to take the ticket accordingly.
Commuters must validate their magic pass per route journey.

Return Ticket

You have to commence your Single (UP) journey within 2 hours after buying ticket. Return journey is only allowed till midnight of booking date.

Use of the Mobile Application

NMMT grants you the right to download install and use the mobile application on your mobile handset to purchase tickets and access information in accordance with these terms and conditions.

You do not and will not own the mobile application or any information that is provided to you through it or the NMMT, but you may use these things in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The mobile application is provided to you free of charge and on an 'as is' basis. We have tried to make sure that it will work on each compatible mobile handset, however, we do not promise that the mobile application will be suitable for your needs, or that it will work accurately or in a particular way.

Advertisement:

Advertisements are accepted when they confirm to the ethical standards. NMMT does not verify authenticity of advertiser or the claims made in Advertisements.
NMMT shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of your relationship with advertiser. NMMT may consume bandwidth for showing advertisements which may be image or video advertisement. To save the bandwidth it may store the video advertisement on mobile memory so that video ad will not be downloaded frequently.

Data charges and access

The mobile application requires a correctly configured and functional wireless internet data connection, both for the initial installation, and for operation of application.

Updates & Availability

From time to time, we may issue updates to the mobile application, in which case you may not be able to continue use of the version of the mobile application installed on your mobile handset without downloading the relevant update. If we issue an update of the mobile application without disabling our earlier version installed on your handset, we nonetheless recommend that you download and install all updates issued. We cannot accept any liability for errors which become apparent in old versions of the mobile application.

Security

Your mobile application will store your frequent trips and past trips. You should ensure that your phone is protected by a suitable password so that if lost/stolen your stored details cannot be used or accessed

Changes, cancellations and refunds

NMMT does not allow changes, cancellations, or refunds of purchased tickets.

Other Terms

We may change these terms from time to time. When we do so, we will publish the new version in the application. Each new version will take effect from the time it is first published in the application, and from then on will apply to you. However, any changes will not affect existing terms accepted by you when making a purchase through this application. If you use the mobile application, we will ask you to confirm your acceptance to the most up-to-date version of these terms and conditions whenever you make a booking. If you do not agree to any changes we make to these terms and conditions, you must stop using the mobile application.

These terms and conditions are intended by us to set forth the entire agreement between the parties herein, you and the NMMT. We recommend that you read the terms and conditions carefully to protect your own interests. If you do not believe they set out the entire agreement between us, please inquire as to any additional terms prior to making any transaction. We do not accept any liability for any reliance placed by you on any statement or representation on this mobile application, whether made by us or a third party. If any of these terms are found to be invalid by a court of law then the remainder of these terms shall continue to apply.

The prices quoted on this mobile application are in Indian rupees. If you choose to pay for your ticket using a foreign credit or debit card, you will be responsible for the exchange rate and you are advised that changes to your ticket or refunds may be affected by such exchange rate.

You and we agree that Indian law applies to these terms and conditions and that any dispute between us regarding the mobile application or arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will only be addressed in Mumbai Civil District Court.

Privacy Policy and personal information

Privacy policy is subject to change at any time without notice. To make sure you are aware of any changes, please review this policy periodically. By using the Mobile application you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree please do not use Mobile application.

When you use our Mobile Application, we store your browsing information. This allows us to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs, and to customize our App. to make your experience safer and easier. More importantly, while doing so we collect personal information from you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose.
